If you feel like there’s a time-clock on your life - well I don’t have any words of wisdom to save you from the reality that is, time is ticking
If that makes you feel uncomfortable, scared or panicky in any way - we need to address this first.
Show ideas that I discuss
- Define Success
- Stop waiting for things to change
- PROGRESS IS THE KEY INGREDIENT TO HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
- What expectations do you have for yourself that are not realistic?
- How do you actually find and define success?
- How to use fear to progress
What holds us back from progress?
Emotion.
Take this for example
- You're in the gym training, your program says 12 reps but by rep 8 your body is burning and is telling you to “stop”
- If you stop - this is emotional and you don’t exactly get the progress
- If you keep going as per the program and reach rep 12 - you now get the progress.
Do you want the emotion or the progress?
Sounds like a very simple concept but in fact that’s exactly what happens in life, you see some of these people on Dr Phil - I’ve had a bit of down time to watch some Dr Phill here and there in iso and I was watching this 45 or 50 year old man, telling Dr Phil he couldn’t get out of bed, and his mum was supplying everything for him even cleaning his room….
He chose not to get out of bed.
He chose to let his break up define his life and so if you really want to change your reality you have to change your perspective
And get uncomfortable
If not now... when?
When is a good time for you to change? why then?
Define clearly what you are afraid of because you can work backwards from here.
So, what's holding you back?
